AI Watch report of the 4th Peer Learning Workshop on the use and impact of AI in public services

On 28 October 2021, the Joint Research Centre and DG CNECT of the European Commission organised the 4th Peer Learning Workshop to collect feedback on the draft "Road to the adoption of AI by the Public Sector". The roadmap's goal is to offer evidence-based, actionable recommendations directed to European public sector authorities at all levels, to encourage the adoption and implementation of AI by European governments.

Following the workshop, a report has now been published with the main findings of the discussions. The document showcases draft recommendations to foster the adoption & use of AI by the public sector, including the feedback received during the workshop. Experiences of three EU Member States are also presented in this context.
