Virtual workshop with Smart Cities and Communities on a European Local Digital Twins Toolbox
A online workshop is organised on 12 July (14:00 to 16:00 CEST) to gather feedback on the composition of the Local Digital Twins (LDT) toolbox, as well as its sustainability over time and the steps towards its deployment.
This workshop targets mostly cities and communities, but the wider LDT ecosystem is also welcome to join, namely LDT technology providers and developers, Standardisation bodies, city networks, and participants in relevant Digital Europe Programme projects.
This workshop is organised by the project to “Co-design the Local Digital Twins toolbox technical specifications for advancing the transformation of Smart Communities”. It is managed by unit CNECT.C.3 – Technologies for Smart Communities, and it is led by Deloitte, together with Capgemini, OASC, Intellera, Technopolis Group, IMEC, TNO and DTU.
The project's main objectives are to map EU-based technology providers and users involved in LDT deployment, develop a complete LDT toolbox, validate LDT scenarios, design the toolbox based on the best deployment scenario, and create a plan for widespread adoption in the EU.
